CAHP DIRECTORS PRESENTATION TO RETIREES

We all should attend this up-date of policy and procedures relating to retirees. Stay in the loop and interact with your CAHP Board members.

Coach: Passengers will travel on a full size luxury tour coach equipped with reclining seats, foot rests, VCR & TV monitors throughout and a restroom. The group will have the coach to themselves as this would be a completely private charter.
Rate is based on a minimum of 30 passengers traveling on the above mentioned itinerary. There is a 10% penalty for cancellations from the time of booking until 30 days prior to the date of travel. There are no refunds for cancellations inside 30 days of the tour for all group reservations. Reservations can not be guaranteed until we receive payment in full.

Attention all Retired CHP & Employees Group
For those of you who have expressed an interest or would like to take the Tour of Hoover Dam at next years meeting in Laughlin Nevada, here is important info for you to follow.
Please read the above info & each of you will have to make contact with Ms. Shelley Yankley at her e-mail shellyyankley@gctco.com, or call the phone numbers listed in her letter to me.
The date set aside for the Tour to Hoover Dam will leave the Aquarius Hotel & Casino in Laughlin on March 12, 2012 @ 0900 hrs & return to the Aquarius Hotel by 1400 hrs the same day.
Each person or couple will have to book your own reservation with Ms. Yankley for the bus tour. The deadline for you to have your money in to her is February 11, 2012.
Ms. Yankley told me she would not charge anyone’s credit card until after the deadline date of 02-11-2012.
There must be a minimum of 30 people booked for the tour or there will be no trip. If she has 30 people booked prior to the deadline & somebody cancels after the deadline of Feb.11, 2012 there will not be any refunds from the tour company. Also note in her info there will be a 10% penalty for cancellations from the time of booking until 30 days prior to the date of travel.
Please understand, we as the Retired CHP Officers & Employees Group cannot & will not be responsible for such a binding contract with the Tour Company for obvious reasons.
For those of you who do not want the box lunch your individual cost would be reduced by $10.00 per person. Make sure you advise the tour company if you want a box lunch or not. You have a choice of honey baked ham, turkey, roast beef or vegetarian sandwich.
For those who wish to take the tour please use the above information to make your reservations with Ms.Shelly Yankley. You may call her via phone to make reservations or if you have further need for information regarding the trip.

Advisement to all of those who plan on taking the Bus Tour to Hoover Dam
The walk from the parking lot up to the bridge is almost a 100 yds up a steady incline with both stairs & a ramp for wheelchairs & pedestrians to navigate. Those who choose may utilize either the stairs or the ramp.
Also be advised if anyone is inclined to have a vertigo problem, while standing on the bridge you will be a couple of hundred feet or so above the Colorado River bed.
